AHS choir held a concert on June 4 at the ABC church to showcase spring songs for the last concert of the year.

The show started with three soloists, Jules Ireland, Jearon Gilbert, and Christina Rogers. Then show choir performed the song “Jubilate Deo” and “Oh Children Come.”

To perform next was the ladies choir singing the Enchanted medley, followed by many other songs. The first half ended with the mixed choir singing “Cantar,” “Didn’t My Lord” “Deliver Daniel,” “Disney Showstoppers,” and “50 States in Rhyme.”

The second half started with the show choir doing Guys and Dolls medley.

Rogers said, “I really enjoy being in choir. This year was a lot of fun especially since I was a big part of organizing all our events. The last years I have been in choir were just as fun.”

Then show choir seniors performing “Photograph” by Ed Sheeren. The seniors that took part in this song were Rogers, Carmen Macias, Olivia Robasciotti, Nicole Bongard, Ashlyn Brookshire, Sam Martin, Collin Spomer, and Ireland.

At the end of the concert all the different choirs came on to the stage to sing “May the Road Rise Up to Meet You.”

Overall the choir concert went well and the students were satisfied with how their final concert went.
